We ask each week people’s favorite things to do in the various states as we get closer to visiting them. It has been so much fun reading everyone’s favorite experiences, activities, and tips on the best eats.
With only one week in each state, there is no way we will be able to all of the amazing recommendations we have received. So we wanted to share highlights from everyone’s tips.
Utah’s National Parks
Utah as a variety of national parks that feature some of the most beautiful rock and land formations. Each park is unique and offers a variety of activities from hiking to rafting and more. Here is a quick list of the 5 parks and what you can expect to see. We had several people comment on the narrows of the various rock parks, the beautiful star-filled skies that are visible at night, as well as the arches in Moab. Thank you, everyone who recommended these parks to us, we are planning on visiting a couple of them next week!
Park City, Utah
Park City is clearly a favorite for locals. It has shopping, amazing food, and great outdoor experiences. From the comments and recommendations, it sounds like there are always events and activities to do year-round. One that stood out to us in the comments was the opportunity to go bobsledding! How amazing is that?
Midway, Utah
There were a few comments about fun things to do in Midway Utah. We also found this awesome post from a local Utah blogger about all the specific things you can do there. Check out her Midway bucket list from Keep Moving Forward with Me.
